Outstanding Senior Award Form

Each year, the Dean honors the best senior graduating from each department in the College with the "Dean's Outstanding Senior Award" (a medal and a certificate) which is presented at the University Commencement ceremony. This year, the University Commencement is on Sunday, May 11, 2008.

Each department in the College along with the Interdisciplinary Degree Program and the Special Major Program is asked to select one graduating senior for this award. Eligible students are those with their baccalaureate degrees conferred on September 1, 2007, February 1, 2008, and June 1, 2008. The selection criteria are: demonstrated academic excellence exemplified by an exceptional grade point average, election to honor societies, participation in research, etc, as well as other academic achievements departments may wish to consider.
